NASAL CANNULA ( ADULT )

Nasal cannula is a medical device used to deliver supplemental oxygen or increased airflow to a patient through their nose. It consists of a flexible tube with prongs that are inserted into the nostrils and secured with an over-the-ear tubing. Nasal cannulas are used to provide supplemental oxygen to individuals who need additional oxygen to support their breathing, often due to respiratory conditions like COPD, pneumonia, or other illnesses. It is relatively easy to use, comfortable, and allow patients to eat, talk, and move without significant disruption.
